This page is a space for LSC to share any resources or practices that have had positive outcomes for ākonga. If you are interested in sharing any ideas then complete this word document and send to the Te Rourou mailbox. 

We will be looking for examples of LSC work in diverse contexts:

  • Across early learning, primary and secondary
  • Rural and urban
  • English medium and Māori medium
  • Universal, targeted and individualised work
  • Within school supports and working with external supports

We expect examples to be guided by and aligned with:

  • Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • National curricula 
  • Ka Hikitia principles
  • He Pikorua principles
  • The Teaching Council codes and standards

It is important that the examples are about effective LSC practice and do not include personal information or information that could identify individuals (ākonga, whānau, kaiako, support staff, other educators etc), learning settings or local communities. The intent is to share resources, tools and practices only.
